Evssential components you need to electrify an MBS mountainboard, or keep one running at full spec.

The MBS motor mount system is designed so that any MBS mountainboard can become an electric mountainboard. It starts with the Motor Mount Arm — a precision CNC 6061-T6 aluminium arm that attaches to your truck hanger via the appropriate clamp. The M2 clamp fits Matrix II trucks and the M3 clamp fits Matrix III, both guaranteeing a seamless, rattle-free fit. From there, the 72T HTD 5M wheel pulley transfers drive to your hub, the 475mm HTD drive belt connects motor to wheel, and the idler pulley keeps belt tension dialled. Finish it off with a Motor Mount Pulley Cover if you want to protect the drivetrain and add a bit of polish to the build.

Getting the pulley screw right matters more than it sounds — the wrong length will leave you short of threads or bottoming out before you're tight. Make sure you match the screw to your hub: M4 x 60mm for Rockstar II, Rockstar Pro, and Rockstar Pro II hubs; M4 x 65mm for Fivestar hubs; and M4 x 75mm for the wider Rockstar Pro II XL.

Drive belts wear over time and are worth keeping a spare of before you need one. The 475mm length is specified for use without an idler pulley — if you're running one, you'll need a longer belt.
