It was about time Lewis learnt to drive on the other side of the road and what better way of achieving it than in a van with no acceleration or rear view window. We set off at ridiculous o clock in the morning and met up in Dover. A quick ferry across then we were on the road for hours. All day in fact. We got to the German coast late on Thursday. We hooked up with the rest of team UK and some dutch and german riders. The comp was a bit slow at times but they ran loads of events including a hangtime comp won by dutch MBS rider Yusca Balogh. The wind was a bit light for the freestyle meaning the smaller riders and those with huge kites had an advantage. Lewis had to put some effort in. Luckily he was on form and won!
Nick de Brujin was on hand filming and has put together a quick edit of Lewis’ riding. As you can see it is very low and technical.
