We took Jamie on just over a year ago. He was one of those riders we never saw much but impressed us every time we did. He is by far one of the most stylish riders out there and is really talented. His style is heavily influenced by his skateboarding background. In the last year we have started taking Jamie along to some of our MBS Pro Ramp demos where he has shown he has the ability to perform when needed and play up to the crowd too. This is a difficult transition for many riders who are used to riding by themselves or in small groups. The pressure created by a crowd can be truly immense, and conditions are frequently not ideal. Only the top riders stand a chance.
Jamie has also been performing well at competitions coming 4th overall in Elites and 1st in U18 in the UK series in 2009. His local newspaper the Carmarthen Journal have recently interviewed him on his views of mountainboarding. Read the article here.
